CHOW works in partnership with Chiswick House Gardens Trust management, representing the views of responsible dog owners using the Gardens, on all matters affecting dog walking, (See www.chgt.org.uk)

CHOW members are involved in the management of the annual Chiswick House Gardens Dog Show, in association with Chiswick House Friends (Reg. Charity no 289907 www.chfriends.org.uk). Further details about the annual show can be found on this site. From August each year dogs can be pre-registered for show classes here. (See Dog Show.) We also occasionally organise social events in support of the show including quiz nights.

This site also contains some useful links and advice for you and your dog, and is updated regularly.

CHOW has developed a voluntary code of conduct for dog-walkers together with Chiswick House Gardens Trust for the benefit of all users of the Gardens. (See Dog Code.)  The 66 acres of Gardens are used and enjoyed by many visitors: families; walkers; children and people enjoying sports.  It is important therefore that all dog owners abide by the Code and ensure that dogs do not disturb the enjoyment of the Gardens by other users.   By promoting responsible dog ownership (such as providing dog waste bags courtesy of the Dogs Trust,) we aim to ensure that the dog-walking community will continue to enjoy the freedom of the many off-lead areas in the Gardens.
